PROPOZITIE INTEROGATIVA:

Ce poti sa-mi spui de fratele tau? Poate el inota sau poate el calari un cal?
Verbul CAN formeaza interogativ prin inversiune cu subiectul.
PROPOZITIE NEGATIVA:
My brother cannot swim, and he can't ride a horse either.
Fratele meu nu poate inota, si nici nu poate calari un cal.
Verbul CAN formeaza negativ prin simpla adaugare a negatie not, dar aceasta se alipeste verbului. Exista si forma contrasa a verbului CAN la negativ: can't
