I adhere to a style that is more permissive but also sometimes authoritative. Sometimes it's helpful if a teached leaves you to figure things out in your own time, and also if they offer the chance to be creative and think differently. But you also need some rules and sometimes it helps if the teacher tells you what to do and make sure you do it, like if there are difficult things to do and understand,
