The meaning of " The more corrupt the state , the more numerous the laws " actually represents today's world . The much corrupt a state is , the more laws will be applied to that state to mantain the peace between people . The government is actually trying to make the corrupt state less corrupt by applying a lot of different and useless laws to prevent people making any illegal actions that may affect the state itself . Today's world is very corrupt and that's why we have to respect a lot of rules that are not representing us , just because the "upper class of the state" is stealing again and again . The corruption is not in us . The corruption is represented by the people who are leading us ( government , politicians and the list is going on ) .
