My parents keep some nice book shelves at home. As a child I could always find the coloring books at hand's reach, at the same level with the children stories.
But now, as I grow older, I find out my parents collection is not complete. Some books I wanted I bought myself, but some I just could not afford. So, at some point in my school life, I started to wonder why with all the science and computers we couldn't have book on them.
And then it hit me: there are book on computers! They are called e-books. Pdf, e-pub, mobi and so on. I never thought of them before. Having the actual paper book, hard-copy in my hand always seemed the best. Since childhood, a book was a collection of pages, all inside two covers.
Now, with the time slipping through my fingers and the need to read all the books for school or just for me, I find the invention of e-books quite useful.
I managed to make an account on an on-line e-book depository and even bought my first e-book: Andy Weir - The Martian.
I'm going to start reading it in a few hours, after "m done with my homework.
It's gonna be fabulous!
