A day in the desert begins with the sun rising and beginning to be hotter and hotter until it becomes unbearable.
Life in the desert is very hard.desert is a land full of sand.There is no water except in a few oases ,and no vegetation.
Here is a sand storm: the wind is blowing the sand,it's like a snow avalanche but with a lot of sand.
There are some people travelling through the desert,they use camels.
They wear scarves to cover their faces and to protect them from the sand.
They can't travel long distances because it's too hot.They are going to an oasis.They use camels because camels can keep water in their bodies for a long period of time.When they arrive at the oasis they can find water .
These people will stay at the oasis through the night because at night it's very cold,almost freezing.
