1. What do you usually do in the evenings?
I usually try to relax as much as possible in the evenings. When it is warm outside, I go for a walk with my friends, to chat and laugh and have a good time. During the winter, I prefer to stay inside the house to watch a movie or to read a good book. Sometimes, I play video games to relax.
2. Do you usually go out a lot at the weekend? Why?/ Why not?
During the semesters, I don't have much time to go out, because of too many tasks we receive at school. But if my homework is ready, I usually call up my firends and we go to the cinema or to walk in the park not far away from my place. Sometimes, me and my parents decide to go out of town, renting a room in a peaceful resort in the mountains. We do this whenever it is possible because we need to rebuild our energy after a period of hard work.
3. Is anything in your life different from usual at the moment?
There are some changes I have noticed lately. For instance, the more I grow up, the more tasks I seem to have. The subjects at school are more demanding and I need to study more complicated things. Another change I have noticed is that my parents no longer treat me as a child, but they have started to talk to me as if I were an adult. The type of friends that I choose has also changed: I am more and more interested in friends who are like me, who have different topics to discuss and who know how to behave themselves in the society.
4. Are there usually a lot of tourists in your town?
My town represents a cultural and historical attraction, so it is very visited by tourists from the entire country and even from abroad. We have ancient buildings and churches, we boast with the Palace of Culture and with the huge Mitropolitan Church, the National Theatre which was the first theatre built in Romania. We also have a lot of large beautiful parks, such as the well-known Botanical Gardens situated on Copou hill. I must also mention that there are places where eveyone can have fun and relax, the Ciric lake being only an example.
5. Do you go to tourist places in your town? Where?
I usually go to the Palace of Culture with my friends whenever we have time. It is mostly visited for its various museums, but we actually meet near the Palace because we enjoy to spend our time in the park surrounding this great building.
6. How is your town changing?
My town is continuously changing. Many new buildings are raised, while other older and important buildings are restored to offer the feeling of the past. So, modern and historical buildings are intermingled together in a perfect combination that attracts people from other cities and that makes us go out for walks, as well.
