The Americand and British English does not represent 100% one language.Firstly,if we analyse the accent of these 2 types of English we will observe that each part (British ,American) has a specific accent .If we talk about the word structure/form we will also find some differences.Some words such as movie,appartament are commonly know,but they are specific for the Americans.The synonims for those in British language are :flat,film.
