Brownie
2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup of milk
5 spoons of cocoa
250 g butter
2 cups of flour
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
1 spoon of lemon juice
a pinch of salt
Mix the sugar, milk and cocoa and boil them until the sugar is melted, gently stirring. Take the pot off the fire and add the butter. Stir it and leave the mixture to cool down.
Whisk in 4 egg yolks one a a time, until combined.
Fold in the flour mixed with salt, baking soda and lemon juice and blend it.
Whisk at high speed the egg-white and then fold it in the batter.
Pour the batter in a tray covered with baking paper. Bake around 25 minutes at medium heat. Insert a cake tester in the middle and if it is clean, your cake is ready.
Powder with caster sugar.
